PENGEMBANGAN ENSIKLOPEDIA DIGITAL BERBASIS KONTEKSTUAL DAN KARAKTER PADA SUBTEMA PERISTIWA KEBANGSAAN MASA PENJAJAHAN KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR
DEVELOPING A CONTEXTUAL AND CHARACTER-ORIENTED DIGITAL ENCYCLOPEDIA FOR THE SUBTHEME OF NATIONAL EVENTS IN THE COLONIAL ERA IN FIFTH GRADE ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
Abstract
This study aims to describe the stages of developing and to examine the feasibility of a contextual and character-based digital encyclopedia for the subtheme National Events During the Colonial Period in fifth grade elementary school. The research applied a Research and Development (R\&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were 15 fifth grade students of SD Negeri Pangenrejo. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while instruments included expert validation sheets (content and media) and student response questionnaires. The product was implemented through limited and wider trials. Findings show that the digital encyclopedia was validated with a score of 3 (valid) from the content expert and 3.7 (very valid) from the media expert. In terms of practicality, it achieved an average score of 3.5 (very practical), while effectiveness was reflected in the average student score of 88 (very effective). Therefore, the contextual and character-based digital encyclopedia is proven to be valid, practical, and effective, making it feasible as a teaching resource in elementary education
