Evaluasi Kecernaan In Vitro Bahan Kering, Bahan Organik, dan Total Digestible Nutrient Relatif pada Ransum Berbasis Isi Rumen

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik dan total digestible nutrient relatif pada ransum berbasis isi rumen sapi, kambing, dan domba menggunakan metode in vitro. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu T0 (onggok40% +rumen kambing60%), dan T3 (onggok40% + isi rumen domba60%), masing-masing dengan lima ulangan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa T0 menghasilkan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik tertinggi (45,48 ± 0,83% dan 46,11 ± 0,82%) dan berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) dibanding perlakuan lainnya. Perlakuan T1 menunjukkan kecernaan terendah, sedangkan T2 dan T3 memberikan hasil lebih baik namun masih di bawah kontrol. Disimpulkan bahwa ransum kontrol lebih efektif didegradasi secara in vitro dibandingkan ransum berbasis isi rumen tetapi dengan inokulum rumen kambing menunjukkan potensi adaptif terbaik setelah kontrol. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan perlunya strategi adaptasi mikroba atau perlakuan awal substrat untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah rumen sebagai bahan pakan.
