The Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system in gasoline vehicles requires injectors that work optimally for the combustion process to take place properly. Injectors that experience problems such as blockages, uneven spray patterns, or leaks can cause increased fuel consumption, decreased engine performance, and incomplete combustion. This study aims to design and build a gasoline car injector tester using a microcontroller-based PWM Pulse Wide Modulation control system. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which includes the stages of problem identification, literature study, system design, tool creation, system testing, and data analysis. The tool system consists of a microcontroller, PWM module, fuel pump, pressure gauge, relay timer delay, and fuel volume measurement system. Tests were conducted to determine the stability of the PWM work system, injector spray pattern, fuel volume, and injector leaks. The test results showed that the tool was able to work well and stably in a simulation of 750 RPM Engine speed with a frequency of 6 Hz, a duty cycle of 2%, a fuel pressure of 3.3 bar, and a test time of 40 seconds. The fuel volume produced in each test showed the same result, namely 80 mL. The results of the spray pattern test showed a fine and even fuel mist, while the leak test did not find any fuel droplets on the injector nozzle. Based on the research results, the microcontroller-based injector tester with a PWM control system can be used as a medium for testing gasoline car injectors effectively and stably.
