Male students interrupt and use more colloquialisms than female pupils. Additionally, male and female students have different language traits. Female students utilize more lexical hedges, ‘hypercorrection’, direct quoting, increasing intonation, and strong stress. Also, women are politer than men. Male students frequently talk about sports and facts and skip about in their speeches. Male students also like public speaking. Thus, the instructor models confident speech.
