About the Journal
JURNAL INOVASI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA (JIPM) is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Mathematics Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, Indonesia. The journal focuses on advancing knowledge and practices in the field of mathematics education and is published biannually (April and October).
JIPM aims to serve as a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate high-quality scholarly works that contribute to the development of innovative approaches in mathematics teaching and learning. The scope of the journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to instructional design, learning strategies, curriculum development, assessment and eval_uation, mathematics teacher education, integration of digital technologies, ethnomathematics, numeracy literacy, and contemporary issues in mathematics education.
The journal welcomes various research methodologies, such as experimental research, research and development (R&D), classroom action research (CAR), survey research, qualitative and quantitative studies, as well as mixed-method approaches. Emphasis is placed on studies that provide practical implications, theoretical contributions, and evidence-based innovations relevant to 21st-century learning.
Through its publications, JIPM seeks to promote academic excellence, encourage collaborative research, and support the continuous improvement of mathematics education at local, national, and international levels.
